Delaware Valley University students participated in the 17th Annual North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge (NAIDC) held April 12 through April 14 in Visalia, California. In total, 235 students from 38 colleges across the U.S. and Canada attended this educational event.

More than 200 Wilkes University students received scholarships at the March 22 annual Scholarship Luncheon on March 22. Scholarship students were recognized along with the donors whose gifts made the scholarships possible.
University of Scranton students inducted into Beta Beta Beta, the national honor society for biology. For induction into the honor society, students must have completed at least three biology courses, maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average in biology, and be in good academic standing at the University. The honor society encourages undergraduate biological research through presentations at conventions, publication in the journal BIOS, and research/travel grants. The University's chapter of the honor society was established in 1994.
Delaware Valley University is pleased to announce that 42 students were inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society on March 25, 2018. Alpha Lambda Delta encourages superior scholastic achievement among first-year students. The Society promotes intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning. Members are encouraged to recognize and develop meaningful goals for their unique roles in society. To be inducted, students must have a GPA of 3.5 or better during their first full-time year.
Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
Coastal Carolina University student mentors of the Dalton and Linda Floyd Family Mentoring Program hosted their mentees on CCU's campus on Friday, March 23, to give a real college experience to Horry County elementary and middle school students. The day was also meant to motivate those students to consider higher education in their own futures.

Kutztown University has announced the student-athletes that will represent its men's and women's tennis programs for the 2016-17 season.
Fifteen local Reserve Officer Training Corp (ROTC) cadets revved up the crowd at the U.S. championship Little League game on Aug. 27 by presenting the U.S. and Pennsylvania state flag during a color guard ceremony to kick off the game. The cadets are members of the Bison ROTC Battalion, which consists of college students from Lycoming College, Penn College, Bloomsburg, Susquehanna and Bucknell Universities.
Kutztown University has honored 21 students with the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges award. Honorees were selected based upon criteria in the following categories: academic achievement, leadership involvement, commitment to volunteer efforts, and commitment to social action. Honorees must have a cumulative grade point average above a 3.25 and a minimum of 75 credits to be considered.

The Kutztown University Dance Team has been selected to participate in the 2014 Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 16. The parade begins at noon at the intersection of JFK Blvd. and 16th St.
